The From Below Project was started in 2025 as an independent research initiative to bring the forgotten efforts of North-East Syria's archaeologists to light. Based on collaborative efforts spanning several years, we seek to mend the gap in coverage about heritage and antiquities within the Autonomous Administration of North & East Syria.
